Capital One Investing for Good

Capital One Invests $520,000

New Hope Housing received a generous $500,000 gift from Capital One through their Social Purpose Grant to support our Resident Services Program. Capital One’s gift has helped give New Hope the capacity to expand and enhance the delivery of robust supportive services that help restore lives.

“Bringing great value to the City of Houston, New Hope is a community leader in shattering stereotypes and providing high quality affordable housing that is uplifting and helps vulnerable people exit the vicious cycle of homelessness,” said Laura Bailey, Managing VP of Community Finance, Capital One. “Having observed first-hand the many positive contributions New Hope brings to building healthy communities, Capital One is pleased to support them and proud to call them a partner.”

Recognizing the affordability challenges in our City and the enduring need for supportive low-income housing, Capital One has invested more than $640,000 in New Hope since making its first contribution in 2008. Capital One also recently granted $20,000 to support the organization’s operations. The funds specifically have been dedicated towards the redesign of our website to help expand our brand awareness and enhance our organizational messaging to a broader audience.
