As families across Houston prepare for the new school year, we’re shining a light on a mom who’s redefining what resilience looks like, not just for herself, but for her children.
Lillian, a devoted mother of three, has overcome incredible odds. After finding refuge and stability through Star of Hope, she was introduced to New Hope Housing Reed. For nearly two years, she’s called New Hope Housing home, and in that time, she has completely transformed her life.
In just a short time, Lillian has:
- Earned her Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), opening doors to a new career path
- Deepened her faith, finding strength in her spiritual journey
- Built a stable, nurturing home for her son Corinthian and daughters Kennedy and Kinsley
Lillian’s story is a testament to what’s possible when families are given the support and opportunity they need to reach stability.
Her strength and determination remind us why our mission matters every single day.
