Today, New Hope Housing officially opened two tuition-free, Montessori-inspired Bezos Academy preschools, expanding access to high-quality early childhood education for Houston families. Both schools are enrolling eligible children ages 3–5.
Bezos Academy Houston – Northside is located at NHH Berry, an affordable apartment community serving families and individuals with limited incomes. Bezos Academy Houston – Third Ward is located at NHH The Gray, an affordable community for active adults ages 55+.
The preschools serve eligible children from New Hope Housing communities and the surrounding neighborhoods. This extends a valuable resource beyond our apartment homes and into the communities we call home.
Bezos Academy operates its preschools at no cost to eligible families, providing everything children need throughout the day, including meals and educational materials. Its Montessori-inspired approach meets children where they are, giving them the opportunity to learn, explore, and grow at their own pace.
Through the partnership with Bezos Academy, our Housing + Services model connects families with resources that support children today, while helping create brighter futures for generations to come.
